Admin/Biographical History GGF - John Paul Busch was a fireman in the Homestead Works. Had 12 children. Kept working during the 1892 strike and was "killed when Irish Unionists blew up a furnace." GF - George W. Busch (1874 - 1957), was born in Allegheny City, moved to East Liberty, and then to Homestead. Worked in the Homestead Works until retirement in 1937. "Ran for Mayor of Homestead, but mill stepped in and asked him to withdrawal." Lived at 201 W. 21st in Homestead.
Father - George Edward Busch - taught chemistry at Munhall High School. Died in 199?.
Mother's family owns Katilius Furniture Store in Homestead.
